Helped me sleep better and has improved my overall mood.
Really like the taste of this orange peel powder. It enhances the flavor of my smoothies and has helped my immunity tremendously. I also mix it in my morning teas and it is very hard to mix as the powder is very fine. I have been taking this for two weeks and has helped me sleep better and has improved my overall mood.
USDA Organic, orange peel grounded into powder.
This is a truly versatile product. It can be used in cooking or for external uses (as an astringent, vitamin C enriched application). I thought the value would be for adding an organic orange flavor aspect to cooking/baking. However, I was enlightened by the significant other that it would make for an excellent face mask/scrub. Knowing that i'd eventually lose the argument, I simply divided the package into half, so we both could utilize this powder.<br />I do like that they included a bag clip, to help keep the foil pack airtight and watertight. This facilitates the longevity and safety of the powder. Still, I put my share into a sealable glass jar (dark colored to minimize sunlight exposure).<br />I sprinkled some of this powder into green tea, and it 'bloomed' into a tasty, tangy orange delight. it's a pleasant way to get a bit more Vitamin C, as well as any other flavonoids associated with orange peels.<br />It is true you can zest a fresh orange, or dry orange peels (my mother used to dry tangerine peels, to use in cooking asian cuisine, a tradition my sister carries on). However, having this ground orange peel ready to go is very convenient. And it's USDA Organic.<br />I will give some of this powder to my sister, perhaps hinting she could cook something and give me some. haha.<br />Besides being a time saver/convenient, the quantity is more than ample when you consider the amount of dried orange rind that is necessary to deliver quantity in powdered form.<br />I feel this orange peel powder merits a solid 4.5 star rating, with a very high level recommendation.
